费莉亚(1912[DH]53)是有史以来最受英国人怀念的伟大歌唱家之一。在她生命中最后数年所绽放出的光芒，无疑已成为二十世纪声乐史上最璀璨的一页。专辑收录1946年5月至1953年1月间所录制的作品，包括著名的爱丁堡音乐节的演出实况录音。另外还有曾经获得企鹅唱片评鉴三星带花最高评价的CD7: 巴哈与韩德尔作品，以及CD8: 英国民歌作品的录音。费莉亚的演唱生涯仅十余年，而其所有重要录音几乎都已收录于本集的10张CD中，绝对是声乐迷无论如何都必须拥有的专辑！
